Amnesty International considers supporting decriminalising prostitution
Amnesty International, the human rights organisation, is considering supporting the decriminalisation of prostitution. The proposal is to be put before Amnesty members and voted on at its annual general meeting in April. [Mail, 24 January] In recent years, Amnesty has moved to campaigning for legal abortion and for homosexual rights.
